How to set Wide Record Mode (Cancel DV mode) in Sony Pxw X70 Video Camera

To set the Wide Record Mode on the Sony PXW-X70 video camera and cancel the DV mode, follow these steps:

Turn on the camera and navigate to the menu by pressing the Menu button.

Select the Camera/Mic submenu by using the joystick or arrow buttons on the camera.

Scroll down to the Rec Format option and select it.

In the Rec Format menu, select AVCHD for recording in wide mode. Select XAVC-S if you want to record in 4K.

If you selected AVCHD, scroll down to the DV Mode option and select Off.

Press the Menu button again to exit the menu.

Your camera should now be set to Wide Record Mode, and the DV mode should be cancelled. You can now start recording video in a wider aspect ratio with higher quality.
